“Where misunderstood dogs are finally understood.”

As an ex supervisor at Dog Trust and a general manager at one of the most established boarding kennels, I have extensive experience dealing with high support needs dogs. Specifically rescue dogs as well as human or/and dog reactive dogs. I have witnessed first hand how those dogs can struggle excessively in the noisy, busy kennel environment and from a “one size fit all approach” adopted in high occupancy kennels.

Behaviour assisted home boarding is often more suited for those dogs as it offers the comfort, calm and familiarity of a home environment and with no more than two suites available, each guest benefits from a high level of consistent professional monitoring.

A complimentary meet and greet is available for all guests - if desired- prior their stay, where information is collected to ensure they get a tailored experience. Training while boarding can also be discussed.

Depending on your dog behaviour, I may advise on an overnight stay trial ahead of your planned trip or a few hours stay during the day to evaluate their behaviour and accommodation if they need to have a positive stay. If your dog is stranger/ people reactive, further meet-and-greet, can be conducted at a small extra charge, until your dog feel fully comfortable with me.

Please note that due to providing home-based boarding, rather than a boarding kennel, I cannot cater for dogs that exhibit the following signs of anxiety: high likelihood to be consistently vocal, destructive to the provided furniture or non-toilet trained. If you are unsure of how your dog may react to home-boarding, please book an overnight stay evaluation.
